Our company produces steel strip for armouring cables as per GOST 3559-75. Strip for armouring can be non-coated or coated with zinc (galvanized). Strip is produced at the slitting line No.2 of steel profile shop. *- The price is indicated only for small-scale wholesale and Ex-Works shipping( minimum value – 1 ton, loading characteristics are presented at “Packing” tab). Express shipping of galvanized strip is possible only for positions presented at “In stock” tab. The price for strip shipped with carload and FTL norms is adjusted individually.

Strip types

Steel strip for armouring cables is produced of two types:
• A – galvanized
• Б – non-coated

Steel strip of A group is also classified depending on its coating type and application:
• АПЛ – steel strip for flat-wire armouring, galvanized and hot-dip galvanized.
• АПРI – strip for profile armouring, galvanized.
• АПРII – strip for profile armouring, hot-dip galvanized.

Galvanized strip is classified by manufacturing accuracy:
• А – common accuracy
• АП – improved accuracy

Steel grades

Steel strip for armouring cables as per GOST 3559-75 is made of low-carbon steel grades:

– GOST 380-2005 – “Common quality carbon steel. Grades”;

– GOST 1050-2013 – “Metal products prom no alloyed structural quality and special steels – General specification”;

– GOST 16523-97 – “Rolled sheets from quality and ordinary carbon steel for general purposes. Specifications.”

Integrated Management System

Slitting line No.2 is meant for slitting of narrow steel strips, galvanized and color coated strips of 0,25-2,0 width. For ensuring high quality of products the company has developed and implemented an integrated management system (IMS), confirmed by the compliance certificate. The certificate confirms that steel strip GOST 53559-75 is produced in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001:2008), GOST R 54934-2012 (OHSAS 18001:2007), GOST (ISO 14001:2004).

Testing methods

Strip thickness, surface and edge defects sizes are measured by calipers (GOST 6507-90). Strap thickness measurement is carried out at the distance of at least 3 mm from the edge. Strap width is measured by calipers. Test for 180o angle bending over a mandrel is carried out in accordance with GOST 14019-2003.

Zinc coating quality control is carried out on one sample from the coil chosen for testing. Zinc coating density control can be carried by both weight method or volume-gasometric method.

Bending test is carried out in compliance with GOST 11701-84 on samples cut along rolling direction. Strip edges must be thoroughly smoothed before testing.

Flatness, camber test and other nondestructive and destructive tests can be carried out on customer’s requirement.

Density of zinc coating on both sides of strip must be not less than:

100 g/m2 – for 1st class;
200 g/m2 – for 2nd class.

Types of packing

Packing of finished products is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 3559-75, GOST 7566-94, GOST 503-81 and schemes agreed with customer on. On customer’s request to strip packing in accordance with GOST 503-81, bottom coil is wrapped in polypropylene film. Coils for railway shipment shall be packed in metal boxes in accordance with GOST 503-81. Packing can be done both on vertical and horizontal axis.

Vertical axis packing

схема упаковки стальной ленты (вертикальная ось) 1Coils from slitting line, wound on a coiler with plastic or metal strap, are laid on a wooden pallet. If a strip width is less than 50 mm, there shall be at least one strapping through an inner coil diameter, packaging an inner end of the strip.

Strip coils with wooden fillers between are put together in piles. Strips wound on single coilers can be laid without fillers between the coils.

In accordance with the scheme strips are wrapped in packing paper or film and strapped to a pallet by 4 packaging steel straps. To prevent from frontal surface deformation plastic pallets are put under packaging seals. Depending on a packing scheme products can be packed in paper or metal box.

Horizontal axis packing

Required number of strip coils with marking tags are laid on a pallet and strapped to each other by one or two radial packaging steel straps (through inner diameter).

Strip coils are set with wooden fillers. Strips wound on single coilers can be set without fillers between the coils.

In accordance with the scheme strips are wrapped in packing paper and strapped to a pallet by 2, and not less than 4 on forming, radial packaging steel straps.

Одним из наиболее востребованных на рынке видов плоского проката является лента оцинкованная, часто также именуемая “штрипс” оцинкованный. Для изготовления данного вида продукции холоднокатаный прокат в рулонах покрывают цинком. Нанесение защитного покрытия позволяет увеличить коррозийную стойкость и продолжительность срока эксплуатации металла. Для облегчения веса конструкций и увеличения гибкости изделий в оцинкованной ленте могут делать специальные отверстия – производят перфорирование. Производители ленты из оцинкованной стали выпускают преимущественно неперфорированную оцинкованную ленту.

Область применения

Обычная (неперфорированная) стальная оцинкованная лента находит применение в таких сферах как:
Упаковка продукции – упаковочная или бандажная лента.
Производство строительных конструкций – профиля для фасадов, под гипсокартон и для строительных конструкции ферм и каркасов, в том числе для теплиц и крепления поликарбоната, внешней и внутренней отделки помещений, изготовления отливов и откосов.
Изготовление защитных элементов и корпусов, в том числе таких как рукава металлические (для защиты кабелей от механических повреждений), изделий для заземления.

Производство перфорированной ленты ориентировано на изготовление таких видов продукции как лента монтажная, лента крепежная, крепежные изделия, в том числе для крепления оцинкованных профилей.
