Electric-welded pipes for water and gas

Technical capabilities and production

Production of electric-welded pipe on «UMC» LLC is carried out on the electric pipe-welding mill “48-140” of the South Korean company «JUNGWOO EMC CO., Ltd, an annual output of 130,000 tons. The plant is a compulsory testing of the weld seam. In addition, each type of pipe is tested in the laboratory “Gazstroya”.

The assortment of steel pipes manufacturing «UMC» LLC included: GOST 3263-75 pipe – water and gas and GOST 10704-91 – longitudinal welded pipe. Electro-welded Pipe comes with a three-way chamfering.

Standards and quality certificates

The products manufactured by our company are not subject to mandatory certification, but in order to increase customer satisfaction, it was decided to voluntary certification for compliance with the requirements of the guests:

• GOST 10705-80 – longitudinal welded pipe (sizes according to GOST 10704-91);
• GOST 3262-75 – steel pipes for water.

The effect of all certificates and licenses are confirmed every year during the surveillance authorities that issued these documents.

Materials

The main steel grades used:

• GOST 10705-80 – St1, St2, St3, St4 GOST 380; 08, 10, 15, 20 according to GOST 1050; 08U according to GOST 9045;
• GOST 3262-75 – steel grades according to GOST 380 and GOST 1050

Dimensions

Gauge of steel electric-welded pipes on “UMC” LLC include products with an internal diameter of 40 to 150 mm and a wall thickness of 1-4.5 mm. Length from 4.5 to 12 m.
